About and editorial principles
Who writes here, what gets published and how the pieces are prepared. The rules on sources, numbers, client confidentiality and the use of AI.
Who writes here
I’m S. Kaan Özdemir. I started in 2010 building enterprise Java applications and have worked in RPA and intelligent automation since 2017. Today I’m Managing Partner and Director of Automation & AI at BOTTEQ Consulting, part of Medyasoft Bilişim Grubu. I design automation programmes across banking, insurance, finance, retail and logistics, and build the teams that run them. The full CV is on my portfolio.
What you’ll find here
- Weekly Radar. Five to seven items from the automation, AI and regulation news. Each links to its primary source and comes with why it matters.
- Analysis. A clear view on one subject, with the reasoning and the sources.
- Playbooks. A decision or a method: what to do in which situation, and when not to.
- Use cases. Flows drawn from real projects, with step-by-step diagrams and videos.
Editorial principles
Sources. News links to its primary source: the company announcing the product, the body publishing the regulation, the analyst firm making the forecast. Secondary sources are only for explanation or corroboration. When I can’t access a source, I say so in the piece.
Numbers. No number without a source. Figures from my own projects are results that can be verified in writing.
Clients. I don’t name clients. I give enough detail to describe the sector and scale, and no more.
Opinion and fact. Facts come with sources; opinions are marked as mine. I try not to blur the two.
Use of AI. The pieces on this blog are prepared by an AI-assisted research and writing pipeline: the Weekly Radar goes out every Monday, and an analysis, playbook or use case every Thursday. The pipeline works within editorial rules I set and draws only on experience I have verified. A number without a source, or an unverified claim about my own work, cannot pass its automated checks. Every piece carries a note saying so.
Corrections. If you spot a mistake, email me. Corrected pieces show an update date.
Independence. Views here are personal. They are not the official position of BOTTEQ Consulting, its partners or its clients.
